About Me
MBACP Saman Kaur

My name is Saman Kaur. I am a professionally qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Hoole, Cheshire, offering remote and online therapy to clients across the UK. I hold a BSc in therapeutic counselling and a master’s degree in psychology, combining academic knowledge with real-world experience to provide effective, evidence-based support tailored to your needs.
As a British Indian and a practicing member of the Sikh community, I offer a culturally sensitive, faith-aware, and inclusive approach to counselling. I understand the complex ways in which culture, religion, identity, family expectations, and community dynamics can affect mental health, self-esteem, and personal growth. Whether you're navigating cultural conflicts, generational trauma, or simply seeking someone who understands your lived experience, I provide a space where you can feel safe, respected, and truly heard.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a subcontracted therapist for the NHS and with clients in the private banking and corporate sectors, offering specialist support for stress management, workplace mental health, anxiety, trauma recovery, and burnout.

Whether you're seeking online therapy in the UK, counselling in Chester, or a therapist who understands cultural identity and workplace stress, I am here to walk alongside you.
